Who is Andy Milk?

Andy Milk, headquartered in Boston’s hotbed of cutting edge technology, is an interactive technology consultant, project manager, programmer, designer, and software engineer.

History
Andy Milk Interactive is built upon 14 years’ experience of development and management, marketing communications and consulting with clients on high-traffic, high-ROI web projects in a wide range of vertical industries including: healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, automotive, ecommerce and consumer packaged goods.

As CEO and head consultant of Andy Milk Interactive, Andy has worked with clients including Comcast, Ikea, Endeca, Anheuser-Busch, the US Senate, and MTV Networks on interactive, social media and engaging projects.

Prior to founding Andy Milk Interactive in 1999, Andy was the technology director for an interactive agency in Cambridge, MA where he managed large-scale web application projects, recommended technology platforms, and led a team of developers and designers.

In 1995, Andy joined what would become Agency.com. He started as a copywriter and project manager in a small firm’s interactive department. Interactive Solutions purchased the company, which was then purchased by Agency.com.

At Agency.com, Andy was a senior web developer and responsible for creating its well-known methodology for design and web applications. He grew with Agency.com and watched it survive through the .COM bust.

Andy graduated with a B.A. in English from Tufts University.

Network
Throughout the last 14 years, Andy built an extensive network of independent professionals while working on web and marcomm projects. His network is filled with experts and specialists who prefer agile and forward-thinking environments.
Before project kick-off, Andy consults with his clients and chooses the appropriate professionals by identifying needs and goals as well as team chemistry—something many large companies overlook.

Role
On most projects, Andy Milk is the lead architect, programmer and project manager. He oversees the fulfillment of the technical and design requirements, and closely monitors the tone, intent and attitude of the content. As an open and experienced manager with high standards for development methodology, he ensures projects meet business goals and objectives.
